Frequently asked questions
My swap is stuck — what should I do?▾
Most swaps complete within 10 minutes. If your status hasn't changed for 30+ minutes, send your swap ID to support@cryptoconverter.io and we'll investigate with the provider.
I sent the wrong amount▾
If you sent less than the minimum, the provider will return the funds to your refund address. If you sent more than the maximum, the excess will be returned. Always set a refund address on every swap.
I sent the wrong coin / wrong network▾
Funds sent on the wrong network may be unrecoverable. Some providers offer manual recovery for a fee — contact support with your swap ID immediately.
How long do refunds take?▾
Refunds are processed by the swap provider, typically within 1-24 hours of detection.
How do I cancel a swap?▾
If no deposit has been detected, simply do not send funds and the swap will expire. Once a deposit is detected, the swap will execute and cannot be cancelled.
