Terms of service

CryptoConverter is a non-custodial quote aggregator and routing interface. We display estimated swap rates from independent third-party providers (including, without limitation, ChangeNOW, SimpleSwap, and Changelly) and route swap requests to those providers. We never take custody of, control, or hold your crypto assets at any point. All swaps are executed by the selected third party under their own terms.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), have full legal capacity to enter these Terms, are not located in or a resident or national of any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and are not on any restricted-persons list maintained by a competent authority. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of crypto-asset services is lawful in your jurisdiction.

Information provided through the Service — including prices, charts, rate estimates, historical data, and any educational material — is for general informational purposes only and is not investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. We are not your broker, dealer, advisor, agent, or fiduciary. You are solely responsible for your decisions.

Quoted rates are estimates returned by upstream providers at the moment of the quote. Final settlement amounts depend on provider liquidity, network conditions, slippage, and provider fees, and may differ materially from displayed estimates. Confirmation of any swap is binding once submitted to the chosen provider.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the addresses you provide, for the security of your wallets and private keys, and for confirming that the destination network and asset match your intent. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. We cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses, on the wrong network, or to addresses you do not control.

Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or create risk to the Service or other users.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law, sanction, or regulation; (b) launder money or finance terrorism; (c) defraud, harass, or harm others; (d) scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; (e) circumvent rate limits or security controls; or (f) misrepresent your identity or jurisdiction.

Swap execution is performed by independent providers. Their terms, fees, KYC/AML policies, and refund procedures apply to the swap and may differ from ours. We are not responsible for provider availability, errors, delays, or losses caused by upstream providers, blockchains, oracles, or price feeds.

The Service, including its name, logos, design, code, and content (excluding user-submitted content and third-party trademarks), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100) or the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms by posting the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be brought to your attention where reasonably practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
